Reindeer PB&J (minus the J)

I need something quick today so I made a little pocket PB&J (minus the J because my girls don't like jelly) with my heart sandwich press tool and then added some M&Ms for eyes and a red "Rudolph" nose, and pretzels for the antlers (all secured with a tiny bit of peanut butter). Added two shortbread cookies that I decorated with some edible markers to make them look like presents. Girls liked them...and that's what matters!

Its cold outside...

Its cold outside today and I really didn't have time to do a fancy bento lunch but I know the girls have missed having them. I took almost the whole month of November off from making them! So today I just put some chicken, fried rice, oranges, apple slices and gummies together in one of their trays and added a cute marshmallow snowman because its cold outside! :0)

The girls made ceramic turkeys today....

And they made some fridge magnets, too!

Sandwich Balls

The Bento Blog Network was recently having a contest for sandwich balls bentos but I didn't have a chance to participate. I have never made sandwich balls and wasn't sure if the girls would like them but they did. One of them busted but I saved it by making it a mouth! They also had strawberry shortcake with fresh strawberries! Yum. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Haven't had time to do many "groovy" bento lunches or breakfast meals lately....but here was a quick breakfast to remind the girls that its the time of the year to be especially thankful. We should be thankful all of the year of course but this time of the year we are reminded....

Corn Muffins with chopped pieces of hot dog weiner and cheese along with apple slices and a yogurt drink.

Halloween Breakfast

What do you feed hungry groovy girls on Halloween for breakfast?

Pancakes cut with cookie cutters -- haunted house, spider, bat and pumpkin. Ghost bananas. Sugar free chocolate pudding in a spider cup with a whipped cream ghost on top (choc chips for the eyes). Candy eyes on the spider and candy bones scattered around for decoration (they never eat these but they look cute).
